Today's garden visitors

Had 4 delightful visitors to the gardens this morning, coming from Franklin and Milford. We shared conversation, laughs, garden tales (mostly mine, mostly woes). They went home with lots of seeds, plus several runaways - Liatris, Columbine, Astilbe, Aster, Lemon Balm, and Anise Hyssop seedlings.

You just never know what's wanting to get out of my gardens on any given day! Happy Fourth!

My son was in the Gulf War - Please give some thought to all those men and women in the service and those out of the country on our behalf. Thanks.

Howdy Marna from your sister in the Southwest!
Great blog! Actually, yours is the first blog I've been to.
What are 'new age tenors'?

I am enjoying this Independence Day by relaxing and reflecting on 4ht of July's in Boston. Did you ever go to the Esplenade? Hear Arthur Fiedler?

Many prayers to all who are separated from loved ones.
Consider an Interdependence Day celebration
:) Terri

So I have no clue if I'm supposed to respond to my sister this way, but it is my blog................
Hey Sis - Glad to have you!! Glad also, to not be in the extreme desert heat at this time of year - 106 in June was enough for me. Although that heat would certainly take care of my slug problem -
So I just read a note about using apple slices for slugs - so what do you think, Terri?? Okay, I know you have no clue about Northeast gardens, having been out there for so long - How long has it been? I am so grateful you are able to visit us regularly. I do miss those mountains, the clouds, the stars, the Red Rock area, the energy that just envelopes you in that whole Southwest area.
LOL (which I found out means laugh out loud) New Age Tenors? oops... Should have been a comma after new age. Just went in to blog and made the correction - I had hit the ( - ) key and not the ( , ) - So Nangeroni of you, but I mean that in a good way - which is why I sent the blog out to the family first, hoping to get errors caught before the big reveal!! Vickie caught my age as listed as 1959 ----- Now that was a BIG mistake!! I forgot to put in the complete year i was born!
So do you see how I used Nangeroni (my maiden name for those of you viewing this) as an adverb (or is that as an adjective - It's very early out here and I'm confused. Tell me, 4th grade teacher, which should it be? I want to be correct in what I post. Oh, wait , now everyone will know my secret. It has been revealed - I am not perfect!! How un-Nangeroni of me!!!!!
About the music, I think you know I love Enya. But did you know I really love Josh Grobin, Il Divo, and now Neal Boyd??

I never went to the Esplanade concerts. My dad always took his boat up the Charles River the day before to get a good spot for the Fourth of July Concert at the Shell. Always too many people were already invited - or, wait, was I ever invited?? Another Nangeroni moment?? We just never had the desire to deal with the throngs, enjoyed watching it. Keith Lockhart and John Williams are very good, but Arthur Fiedler was the best. Saw him at Symphony Hall!

INTERDEPENDENCE - I absolutely love that word. Can you share with all what it means/represents? I definitely invite you to do so, if you would like to.My blog is your blog - and remember anyone in the world can look at this blog!! It's totally your call. Love and miss you lots. Love also to Cheryl. Happy blogging. Check out my blog list. Another fun blog there.

I don't start teaching for two weeks so you will have to figure out the adverb/adjective question on your own...

Happy Interdependence to all. You are invited to reflect on the illusion of separation which tends to create discord and an uneasy feeling deep within. We think we want independence but actually our soul responds to interdependence.
Interdependence = harmony with ALL life.
It is a clear knowing on a soul level that all life is one. Life is a circle and a magnet...what are you putting out?
